Why is it unique

This airport is famous for its great location which is just beyond the beautiful Maho Beach. Before landing on the airport you will skim the heads of the beach goers and sunbathers. The people at beach are just enjoying inbetween the booming engine and power packed winds. Initially, the aircraft moves from the beach strip and further passes the road before hitting the airfield. Landing at the airport is a bit scary and frightening, when the roadway between the runway is loaded by high container vehicles. So it is very essential to beware of the obstacle in between the runway and the roadway.

At Princes Juliana International Airport the beach near the runway is totally shaken by the high end winds and deafening volume of the engines. This is a unique airport, which is flanked by the beach and tourists from all around the world. Followed by a lot of disturbance the beach is still one of the crowded attractions in Saint Martin. If you are at Maho beach you will thoroughly enjoy the magnificent view of the aircraft just above 10 to 20 meters from the beach. The airport runway lengths 2,400m which is convenient for mid size jets as well as large airbuses. If you are in the aircraft after getting down on the runway don't forget to wave the people at the beach.
